In my last post, I was talking about life having an organic soundtrack. You can read it here if you missed it. Struggling to come up with a blog idea that would concisely sum up my feelings today, I was chatting with fellow author Laura Salters, like I do a million times a day, when this song started in my head. I apologize in advance, I have a crazy memory for old songs, and you’ll be singing this all day!
So now you get the general mood.
THIS IS IT! Today, the cover of my St. Martin’s Press debut, THE STRONGEST STEEL, was revealed on Heroes & Heartbreakers.
It’s hot, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Lizzie Poteet and the team at SMP did such an awesome job of bringing Trent to life on the cover. And it wasn’t easy. Trent, the seriously sexy owner of Second Circle Tattoos, has strong opinions when it comes to his ink.
And the blue! Set in Miami, what other color could bring to life the vibrancy of the water and the energy of the city itself? Miami is one of my favorite places in the world, so to see it represented on the cover made my day.
I love everything about it, and I hope you do too. Please let me know what you think in the comments section.
Anyway, hubby just told me off for bouncing the air out of my much-abused pilates ball, so I’ll close this off. To quote Dannii, I’m lost for words, I’m in a daze, stunned and amazed. My debut novel is finally here.
